Erin Brooks is a Certified Sommelier from Santa Fe, New Mexico. After graduating from the College of Santa Fe with a B.A. in Creative Writing and Politics, she became involved in the service industry and fell in love with wine. She has since worked as a bar manager, sommelier and wine buyer. Erin is a recipient of the Walter Clore Scholarship and the 2015 André Tchelistcheff Advanced Course Scholarship. She has passed with distinction both the intermediate and advanced level exams for the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. In 2015, Erin relocated to the Napa Valley to work for the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group. She also works as a freelance food and wine writer and as a sommelier and wine educator for private clients. She is hard at work preparing for the Court of Master Sommeliers Advanced exam and is enrolled in the Wine & Spirit Education Trust Diploma program, widely considered a prerequisite for the Master of Wine qualification.
